After the steam engine was removed the steam was provided by boiler system housed in the engineers room, I loved spending time in there with my Dad, watching the water pumps running feeding the boiler, they were still very old pumps and a challenge every day for Dad, many memories of kids knocking on to let him know the low water alarm bell was ringing!
