Wilbraham Road just 30 years ago

Now just occasionally I like to revisit an old photograph I have used before.

This one comes courtesy of Tom McGrath and is from a series he took in the mid 1980s.

30 years later he went back and repeated the shot.

    The Durutti Column played the Lamplight Club in Chorlton, Manchester on 24 July 1981.

    In the Lamplight you could get what was undoubtedly the world's worst burger! I remember buying an Albertos 45 there called 'Robin Hood' 😀
