Many of my friends have moved to the “ville” over the years, and you can see why.
The houses are comfortable family homes and the grass and tree lined streets can be still be a peaceful place.
Most of the early pictures reflect this quiet estate.
So I decided to choose pictures which showed the delivery men and tradesmen.
Here on the Meade there was a flurry activity.
Long before internet gorcery shopping brought to the door, the shops of Chorlton were sending out their produce.
