Now I can’t be exactly sure of the date.
It will be sometime in the 1970s or ‘80s and it will be in Manchester.
So that narrows it down but not much.
It might have been in support of the Firefighters pay claim of 1977 or the day of action undertaken by a host of public service workers two years later.
Equally it could have been anyone of a number of demonstrations I attended during those two decades.
