Opening the insides of The Arkaday Soya Mill ............. on a November day

Now, it is easy to take the demolition of an old and redundant building for granted.

But that is not something Andy Robertson does.

Instead, he makes a point for recording the story, from its closure or vacancy, through to its demolition and on to the new build.

And the empty building which was part of the Arkady Soya Mill on Skirton Road has become one of his new projects.

It has already featured on the bog, and recently Andy was back, on a photo shoot which he concedes has seen little progress.

That said, two of the images caught my eye, and perfectly for me capture the end of what was once a busy productive place, and that was enough for me to include them.
