The sun shone and despite the fact that United were playing plenty of people turned out to help Peter and I launch book 2 in the series nothing to do in chorlton.*
We were at the Lloyds who welcomed us in, Susan Parry sang a collection of songs with more than a few jokes thrown in and Vicky was there from Chorlton Book shop selling the new book along with the other ten we have published collectively and individually.
And a good time was had by all, leaving us just to say both books in the series are selling well, and book three Down Beech Road Looking for Chorlton Row is in preparation.
The book, nothing to do in chorlton, Martlege Lost and Found by Andrew Simpson & Peter Topping, costs £5, is available from Chorlton Bookshop or us at www.pubbooks.co.uk
Location; The LloydsPictures; doing something in chorlton, 2022, from the collection of Andrew Simpson
