Now very soon lots of you will be pondering on Christmas presents and so with that in mind here is the fourth suggestion.
Day four and two to ponder on.
Following our very successful book on Manchester Pubs The Stories Behind the Doors City Centre which came out in December 2016, we followed up with the Chorlton-cum-Hardy edition which we published in the summer of 2017. To which this year we added the Didsbury edition.
Together they represent a major contribution to the history of Manchester pubs and include original paintings by Peter with old and contemporary photographs and stories by me.
Each has been designed as a series of pub walks ..... what better way to get over that Christmas Day than an educational walk to the iconic pubs of Chorlton and the city.
