That lost Manchester

Now it is easy to forget those acres of close packed terraced houses, much of which was swept away by the clearance plans of the middle decades of the last century.

Of course, plenty still exist, but for all those who lived in the ones that no longer exist, here are two from the collection.

Invariably there was a shop on one corner with a pub, or church hall another.
