I think this will be the last from the series of Sidcup in 1961.
This is the war memorial and our commercial photographer decided on just one more which was a close up of the parish church.
I have to confess I have never visited either but armed with this picture postcard I think I shall go looking for both next time I am home in Well Hall.

St.John's Church. I attended Sunday School next door, and church services with the 2nd Sidcup Boy Scouts.
ReplyDeleteI used it live in the road opposite. One evening I heard a screech of panic braking and then a loud bang. I went to investigate and found some idiot in a Hillman Imp had run out of what little talent he had and had crashed into that tree, thankfully missing the memorial.
