Another one of those almost familiar pictures, view at West Point looking out from Whalley Range, 1904

The caption just says Whalley Range, Manchester Road, view from the corner of Seymour Grove and Upper Chorlton Road, 1904.

All of which will please anyone who lives in Chorlton, Whalley Range and Firswood.

And that pretty much is all I shall say, except that it is winter.  So I suggest you study the image, and either go down to the spot or use a certain digital street map to compare the changes.
