Now the project is simple, take a modern image of a building we all love and turn it into the style of poster which was popular in the middle decades of the last century.*
In this case it is a photograph I took recently of a solitary reader in Chorlton Park.
And given the preoccupation many people have with their smart phones, which deliver everything from the news, to instant communication, pictures and even games, how refreshing it is to spot someone reading a book in the shade in a park on a hot June day.
Peter took the picture and my copy and transformed it into what you see.
There isn't an International Library Week, but lots of countries do promote National Library Weeks or Days, so I guess we are ahead of them all.
Location; your choice
