Making postcards from postcards ……

To be accurate the postcards were made from postage stamps, some of which must have come from used old picture postcards.

I was sent three by David Harrop who said “Chinese origin I think”.

Adding that "they may date from the 1920s or 30s and are popular with collectors”.

The postmarks range from the late 19th century into the 1930s and come from Britain and Dutch colonies.

My favourite is the first, although I do have seeking liking for the second.

The third is a bit iffy given its hint at Colonialism but stands for how some people viewed the world back before now.

So plenty of stories to follow up.
