So, we were in the small town of Dolgellau, and having exhausted the sights, and the pubs and leaving the others to the gift shops I wandered off.
And as you do, I happened on the town square and the bus stop, which offered up a study of how people occupied themselves while waiting for the 39 to Porthmadog via Harlech.
Chief among the ways to pass the time was the mobile, while for some there was always the chance to read the paper, pour a drink for a companion or just stare into space and think thoughts
My Wikipedia tells me that it "is a town and community in Gwynedd, north-west Wales, lying on the River Wnion, a tributary of the River Mawddach. It was the traditional county town of the historic county of Merionethshire."
It has a population of 2,688 and hosts several festivals during the year.
