This is one I shall be going to.
It is that place we have all grown up with and which over the years has been a place to shop, and meet up.
So as the plans are being revealed for what will replace the shopping centre it is fitting that there should be an exhibition to share our memories, as well as past photographs and paintings.
Cath Fernely who is responsible for the exhibition writes "change is coming so we want to encourage people to contribute to the consultation and influence what may come in the future but also to say 'goodbye' to what we've had.
There has always been a great range of shops where you could get most things but we also enjoyed the conversations with shopkeepers and people you might meet on your way.
So we hope people will enjoy the paintings and the photographs and contribute to a 'Memories' board that we'll make into a book and store in the library".
