Four Chorlton pictures …. in search of a story

So, when you look out across at the same row of houses there must be somethings that changes.

Winter sunshine over Provis, 2023

They were built by Joe Scott sometime at the start of the last century and predate our house which he also built and lived in by just a few years.

And I have looked out at them from the back bedroom window for almost half a century.

Over that time, some have grown extensions, had fresh paint jobs, and been visited by Gary and Gertrude the Gardeners.

To be honest they have always been just a backdrop although during that time I have become friends with several of the occupants.

Over the years I have snapped them on idle moments when the sun or the light and shadows were good.
