It dates from 1980 celebrates, twenty years of the French Socialist Party and was brought back from Paris by my friend Glyn Ford.
It has in its time hung in several rooms of the house and now sits in the kitchen, making it one of the first things you see as you walk in through the front door.
Many of the campaigns it features were ones I was involved in while others were happening just on the edge of my awareness of world events.
And that pretty much is that.
The quality of the image is a bit iffy but it captures perfectly two decades of political struggle which were about liberty equality and fraternity.
Location; France
Picture; from the collection of Andrew Simpson
