The upside of inner-city living is that you get to wake up to bits of our history that most people see from the upstairs of a bus, or looking down from a tram window.
So, when Andy helped his daughter move into her new flat, he recorded the event in a series of photographs.
Looking out on one side are fine views of the canal, the railway line, and former Congregational Church, along with just a hint of the Science Museum and the now familiar forest of cranes.
The downside of it all is that a lot of development is still going on, but I guess that’s what you have to put up with.
