It was over 50 years ago that we acquired this poster from the off-licence on Well Hall Road.
At the end of the summer when we left home for Manchester it came with us, was blocked mounted and has followed me from homes across Manchester and beyond.
And since l washed up in Chorlton in 1976 it has graced the walls of five different rooms.
Looking at it now it can be criticised for some of its underlying assumptions, but it remains special.
