When fur met tea in the company of Nazima Kheraktar and Mr Foster on Wilbraham Road

Now here was the challenge.

What could be the link between the new shop just opened on Wilbraham Road, a meeting between its own owner and Mr Foster's cycle shop which has traded in Chorlton since 1954 and Peter Topping’s new painting?

The answer is of course that I have written about all of them with the exception of Ms Nazima Kheraktar who has just opened FurCats in what was Mr Clayton’s  grocery business.*

My attention was drawn to Mr Clayton a few months ago when during the refurbishment of the shop the old ghost sign for Lyons Tea was revealed.

Sadly it seems to have gone again but then that is what happens to ghost signs
