Among the pictures our dad collected in the 1920s and 30s is this one.
It is a war memorial and I guess is in Scotland.
But there are no accompanying notes or a date.
That said I think it will date to the mid decades of the last century with just a possible extension into the 1950s.
And the reason for this was that this picture and the rest of the collection were used by Dad in his work for Glenton Tours, driving and hosting coach parties on holidays across Britain.
From the early 1930s he worked for Glenton Tours who were based in New Cross in south east London, and the pictures may well have been an aide memoir when preparing for the trips.
So all suggestions gratefully accepted.
