This is one of those pictures of the Horse and Jockey which I remember.
And yet despite it dating back just a few decades it looks as dated as a picture of the pub and green from 1900.
It starts of course with the design of those cars, and the signage on the front of the Jockey and is confirmed by the colour of the original print.
And then there is the green itself, less green and more grey from the tarmac surface.
So just a little bit of our recent past brought back to remind us of what it was like.
