Now the project is simple, take an image of a building we all love and turn it into the style of poster which was popular in the middle decades of the last century.*
Of course, there will be those from the Friends of the Metro Link who will point out that strictly speaking Cornbrook should be given the title of Gateway to Manchester, Salford and beyond.
It is after all one of the main switching points and I believe is also the hub of the electronic stuff which makes the network function happily.
But I like Deansgate Castlefield better.
