A little bit of Blackpool ….. what Andy saw

I came late to Blackpool, washing up there in the mid 1990s on a short weekend break, despite having lived in Manchester since 1969.

But enough of that, instead here are a series of images that Andy Robertson took last week when as he said “Six hours to kill in Blackpool, killed as only I know how!”

And that was a collection of photographs of the place, many of which reveal buildings that began as something else and whose history I think I shall go looking for.

Added to these were those iconic and not so iconic pictures which make Blackpool what it is.
