On seeing the first sighting of Manchester Remembering 1914-18 on a book shelf

In what amounts to a huge bout of outrageous self promotion I have decided to post the first picture of my new book on a shelf in a book shop.

The shelf in question is the one in Waterstones in Stockport but I know that Chorlton Book shop have had their supply for a week and Manchester Waterstones were expecting theirs on Monday.

All of which just leaves me to thank David Harrop for being the first to send in a picture.

David as everyone knows also supplied most of the memorabilia which appears in the book.

And he will be with me at the book launch and book signing of Manchester Remembering 1914-18  at Central Ref on Saturday February 18.

The event starts at 1 pm and goes on till 4.30.

So that is it.

Of course anyone who wants to supply their sighting of the book should just make contact and their picture will be added to the hall of fame.

Location; Stockport
