Now when my friend Barbarella sent over a picture of the hotel, Eleven Didsbury Park, I knew there was a story, which there was.*
And having become fascinated by its history I asked Barbarella to take another few pictures which she did, just as it was getting dark.
And I rather think she captured the idea of just how welcoming a hotel can be.
