And some of them have come back to us to say that they would like to buy the book on the strength of appearing in it.
One chap’s son bought him the book and having read it cover to cover bought six more because he and a friend were in the Fletcher Moss story.

All five were CAMRA members and two were from Scotland. They consented to be in the book, and a few months later came up to us at CAMRA’s beer and cider festival in Manchester Central and bought the book, because not only were they in it, but they had enjoyed looking at a copy a friend had just purchased.

All of which takes me back to the Didsbury pubs book, which came out in the summer, already has had an official launch at Didsbury Beer Festival, where yet again, someone bought the book on the strength of their presence in the publication.
