And it took a few minutes to think back to when the premises was occupied by Touch of Class which specialized in furniture, and gifts.
Added to which I had to go looking for its early occupants, which in 1969 was Crockatt’s, “dyrs & cleaners”.
To which I have nothing more to say, other than I have yet to find the date for the building which replaced a row of earlier properties.
The OS map for 1934 shows three properties with a hall behind.
