Now for any one who remembers the Railway Inn on the corner of Cornbrook Road and Dover Street, or those who have followed the story of its slow lingering over decades ......... this is the end.
I first got to know it as a building spotted from the tram at Cornbrook, by which time it was just a couple of walls.
But once it was a real pub, busy offering up beer and cheer, but long ago closed and bit by bit lost more of its former glory.
