In 2023 the roof is gone so we can only imagine the state of the interior. It's the biggest shame, up there with the dereliction of Hough Hall in Moston. In the early 1970s I used the library regularly, to borrow books, but also to meet my boyfriend. Happy memories of a beautiful place of refuge.
